What if I don't use my Portfolio within one year?
After the mandatory 60-day 'waiting-period', your Portfolio is activated for use whenever you have to use it. It is good for use for one year from the activation-date. For example, if you were to purchase your Portfolio on May 1, 2000, it would become activated on June 29, 2000 (60 days), and would be good for use through June 29, 2001.
If it turns out that you didn't have to use your Portfolio within that one-year period, at the end of the period you have a choice of either renewing your Portfolio for another year, or you have the option of canceling your Portfolio, in which case you would be entitled to a refund equal to 75% of what your currently active Portfolio cost. For example, if you decide to renew, we would re-compute based on the current day's rates what your new Portfolio cost would be. We would bill you for the amount that is the difference between the previous and the new rates, i.e., let's say that last year your Portfolio cost was $320.00 and this year when re-computed, the cost was $360.00. The difference of $40.00 is what we would bill you for in order for your Portfolio to remain active. In addition, there is no mandatory 60-day 'waiting-period' for each continued year of activation.
Let's suppose you decide to cancel your Portfolio after one year. Once we are notified, we would determine what 75% of your Portfolio's cost was and refund you a check in the amount of that 75%.
